Startled
I woke from a dream
This morning
Your image flashed
Before my eyes

Naked you sat
At the end of your bed
Legs criss-crossed
Knees to your chest
Arms wrapped ’round

Your pale skin
Stark against
Green eyes that
Bore into mine
Beseeching me
to understand

Your heart calls to me

Longing

The Angels shine

In a field of clover
the rainbow begins
Taking us places
we’ve never before been

A river runs through it
pathway to intertwined souls

Mist swirlin’ round us
warm gentle wind blows
Hearts reawaken
healing begun

The journey before us
illuminated path
The Angels shine
and bring love
into the sun.
